Wednesday, May 17, 2023 Tesis which is a program from PT. Sinergi Merah Putih conducted another visit to Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology. On this occasion, Tesis held a socialization entitled 'Socialization of Student Collaboration Mini Project with Industry' which was held in the Hall of the Rectorate building. This socialization was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Systems, Mrs. Dwi Mustika Kusumawardani, S.Kom., M.Kom., Information Systems Lecturer Mr. Yudha Saintika S.T., M.T.I., and attended by nearly 100 Information Systems Students.
Socialization with Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology Students delivered by Mr. Tomy Sekar Mehta from PT. Sinergi Merah Putih, aims to introduce students to Tesis programs that can help students prepare themselves with knowledge and experience that they may not have gained when studying, so that they are ready to work in Industry when they graduate from University. One of the excellent Tesis programs that can build students' skills and experience is the student project collaboration program with Industry or commonly called Mini Project. Students who take part in the mini project program, will work on a real project from an industry according to the role they are interested in. The aim in involving students in mini projects is that students when they graduate can work in accordance with their educational background because students already have skills and experience working in the industrial world.
Mr. Mohammad Iqbal, as a UI/UX Designer, delivered the knowledge about how to work in the industrial technology. With his various experiences and understandings, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal provides valuable insights into the world of Industry and the perspective of a UI/UX Designer. He explained his role in understanding user needs, designing an interface design, and his role with other developers in a development process. Based on the explanation from Mr. Mohammad Iqbal and Introduction to Tesis by Mr. Tomy Sekar Mehta, many students are enthusiastic and interested in participating in Tesis programs. This can be seen from the number of students who actively ask questions in question and answer sessions and join the Tesis Mini Project program.
